Hunter Hayes Makes His Acting Debut
. Hayes explained how the video is supposed to embody a fun, summer vibe despite being shot on a rainy 40 degree day."This was my first time getting to shoot a video with a storyline," he said in a behind-the-scenes clip (below). "This was my acting debut. This is my first time really getting into a character. It was awkward to act with someone I never met." But, Hayes got the hang of it pretty quickly. "I relate to the song because I wrote the song," he said. "I've totally been there in some form or fashion lived something like this." The song is about a long distance relationship and the difficulties in making it work. In the video, Hayes proves he knows just how to keep the magic alive as he charters a plane home to meet his girlfriend. "It's about the crazy things you do when you're crazy about them," he said. "We wanted the video to reflect that, that out of character characteristic of a person in love." Watch the video and read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
