. (Radio.com) In rap's cash race, as chronicled by Forbes, Diddy reigns supreme. At least according to "Forbes Five," the magazine's list of hip-hop's wealthiest rappers. But, as usual, the competition is intense and the dollars continue to grow.

Thanks to Diddy's deal with Diageo's Ciroc, the Bad Boy boss' estimated wealth has leaped to $580 million. Following Diddy is Jay-Z, another mainstay on all hip-hop earners lists. Forbes estimates Jay's worth at $475 million, which he amassed with major deals for Rocawear and Live Nation.

Dr. Dre makes noise at No. 3 with $350 million. He loudly cranked up the cash with his Beats by Dr. Dre headphones that have become ubiquitous. His partners, which includes Interscope head Jimmy Iovine, snatched back all the shares of the company in 2012 and continued to grow the brand beyond headphones. more on this story
