Kacey Musgraves Excited About Playing Stadiums With Kenny Chesney
. That show took place last weekend in Tampa, Florida at Raymond James Stadium. Which meant that Kacey was suddenly not in a cozy little music club anymore. She was suddenly playing in front of thousands of country music fansno, make that tens of thousands of fans. Sohow was that experience? As Kacey explained to Radio.com in an interview this week, it was a thrill, but it took some getting used to. As she says, it was "pretty mindblowing." She describes how she got to go out on stage during Kenny's set and sing "Come Over" with him. "And at that point there were about 65,000 people there, biggest crowd I've ever been in front of. But it wasn't scary. I think because there were so many people, my brain wasn't even letting me compute." She goes on to explain, though, that her new tour is very exciting for her. "This is my first time being out there like a road warrior, in a bus, with my own band. It's just been so fun building that relationship up." Putting her live show together, in fact, she says, is one of her "favorite things," because as she explains, "you're presenting your songs to everyone. Everything from designing how the stage looksit's just so much fun." More including streams. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
