Mondomusica New York Mondomusica New York is the world�s leading exhibition of handcrafted stringed instruments and will host premier violin makers and luthiers from all over the world, international music instrument dealers, music professionals and enthusiasts. Festival goers can also see this year�s band contest featuring Cabin Creek, Highway 60, Most Wanted Bluegrass, Samantha Casey and the Bluegrass Jam, South 79 and others. Heating things up will be Felix Da House Cat, Skream, Baauer, Just Blaze, Clockwork, Alex Metric, Destructo, Surkin, Oliver, Para One, Kill Frenzy, Jesse Rose, Light Year, Gina Turner and Samo Soundboy. The party starts at noon and goes till 10 P.M. www.hardfest.com McDowell Mountain Music Fest This festival has moved around the Phoenix metropolitan area over the years; this time out it takes place at the Margaret T. Hance Park in the city�s downtown. Scheduled to appear are Balkan Beat Box, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, the Shins, Deer Tick, Iration, the Roots, Yonder Mountain String Band, Les Claypool�s Duo de Tango, Umphrey�s McGee, Kongos, Banana Gun, JGB Band, Dr. Dog and many others. www.mmmf.com Maverick Music Festival This is a brand new event put together by Gary Clark Jr., who will headline the festival.
