Luke Bryan Tops Hendrix and Bruno Mars
. Bryan's compilation sold 150,000 copies its first week in stores, according to Nielsen SoundScan, and gave the country star the biggest sales week of his career. A new album from rock legend Jimi Hendrix claimed the No. 2 spot with sales of 72,000 copies last week. The success of "People, Hell and Angels" gave the late rock star his highest charting album in 44 years. The top was rounded out by Bruno Mars at No. 3 with "Unorthodox Jukebox," Mumford & Sons at No. 4 with "Babel," and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis coming in at No. 5 with "The Heist."
