In November, soon after the sacked singer had revealed his new band, Drover told fans he wouldn't take part after all, saying: "I was very excited about doing this gig initially, but learned in the past week or so that it's in my best interest not to do this right now. I sincerely wish Geoff and the band all the luck on what they do in the future." Now he's said via Twitter: "Going up onstage with the REAL Queensryche to play Take Hold Of The Flame this Thursday at the Phoenix in Toronto.
