Bloc Party Release First Song From New EP
. The first single from the EP, "Ratchet," was premiered on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show "Hottest Record" last night and the band have recruited animator Cyriak to direct the music video for the song. Watch it here. Kele offered these details about the song, "Ratchet was the first song we recorded with Dan. It really came together whilst we were on tour in 2012. We started slipping it into the sets at the start of this year just to try it out and the reactions were insane. We knew we had something special." Fans can catch Bloc Party live this summer on some of the biggest stages and festivals in the UK and Europe, including a headlining slot at this year's Latitude Festival in the band's native UK.
