Singled Out: Bobby Long's Devil Moon
. I wrote "Devil Moon" one night after going to a show. I watched a band play a song that had a riff I really liked. I wanted to write one that was better so I went home, and it came really fast. The premise of the song is about there being some undeniable force that casts a shadow on all your actions or gives you bad luck. I guess we all feel like that sometimes. "Devil Moon" was a big breakthrough for me. Before, I didn't even feel like I had a song like that in me, let alone the nerve to write it. The song ended up being the catalyst for my new record Wishbone and helped me create the record. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
