Singled Out: Madlife's Just One Gun
. This is from the perspective of the gun. If you were the gun- this song is about how you would feel and think as that gun. Expressing one's self through the gun. I wanted to see exactly how many buttons one could push before it became uncomfortable. At one point during the writing, I had found that I had lost track of time. Two or three hours had gone by. I had gotten so deep into the idea and the concept of what I was doing, that when I came out the other side, I realized that I had created some little monster. At that point I asked myself "would you like to sing that.angry song with me?" After finishing this song and the concept that went with it, I came to realize that the gun can't do anything on it's own. It is controlled solely by a person. And with that "all it takes is just one gunto start it all" Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and check out the video right here!
