The veteran classic rock band will be kicking things off this Wednesday when frontman Paul Rodgers will be the featured guest on the latest episode of the syndicated radio show Rockline.

Next Monday, June 10th, the band will be making their very first late night TV appearance when they perform on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.

Then on Tuesday, June 11th, the band will make a special appearance at The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles were they will be performing an intimate set and will be holding a rare Q&A with their fans.

That all leads up to Saturday, June 15th, when the band kicks off their North American 40th anniversary tour in Rancho Mirage, CA. The tour will include 30 shows (14 will be coheadlining dates with Lynyrd Skynyrd) before wrapping up on September 29 at the Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona.

Paul Rodgers had this to say about the trek, "When Mick and I formed the band we were amazed at the instant success. It didn't hurt to have Led Zeppelin behind us and I think we wrote some decent songs that still resonate. This one is for the fans."
