. (hennemusic) Pearl Jam released their official app on Thursday at iTunes as they gear up to tour behind the October 15th release of their new studio album, "Lightning Bolt."

The free app features music, news, Ten Club membership, specialty merch, activism updates, and mobile connectivity to the band's social media networks.

It also includes a unique detailed career-spanning timeline marking the band's major historical milestones and access to Ten Club Radio, as well as a digital bonus pack for mobile devices.

"This is a big and active year for the band in terms of album and touring," said Ten Club manager Tim Bierman. "We wanted to bring all the best features on pearljam.com and the band's Ten Club to fans via their mobile devices so they weren't bound to their computers to reap all the benefits.
