Voivod Drummer Streaming New Field Recordings Album
. Cities was made over two years of touring with the Canadian band, and it was inspired by the values of musique-concrete and tape collage. Langevin says of his debut solo work: "I've always been fascinated by field recordings. I was introduced to it by Piggy as a youngster." Utech Records will release Cities on a limited-edition of 500 CDs. The label explains: "Field recordings capture more than just the sound of an area they capture a mood and spirit of the place and people. "Local colour and nature recordings clash with riots and discord, capturing the full human experience across the world." More including the stream.
