Norah Jones To Perform At The Oscars
. The song, "Everybody Needs A Best Friend," features lyrics by the film's director, Seth MacFarlane, and music by Walter Murphy, and has been nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song. Jones will perform the song during the televised broadcast on Sunday, February 24, on ABC at 7pm ET / 4pm PT. She will also be performing the song on NBC's Tonight Show With Jay Leno on February 8. The EP includes the four by TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek ("Good Morning," "She's 22," "Take It Back," and "After The Fall") that were released on a limited edition 10" for the Record Store Day "Back To Black" promotion in November.
