Electric Daisy Carnival Headed To The Midwest

. (Radio.com) EDM festival Electric Daisy Carnival will descend on the Midwest when the wildly popular annual rave sets up shop in Chicago over Memorial Day Weekend 2013.

Produced by Insomniac Events, EDC will take over the Chicagoland Speedway May 24-26. The Chicago edition of EDC will be the first (and only) one to offer attendees the option of overnight camping adjacent to the event.

"As Insomniac continues to grow, our first priority is listening to our fans and they've made us feel confident that EDC has a home in Chicago," said Pasquale Rotella, CEO of Insomniac. "This is the first EDC that will offer fans the opportunity to camp while enjoying the festival and I know that the Chicagoland Speedway is the ideal location.
