(Radio.com) Chief Keef's ongoing legal problems took a turn for the worse on Tuesday (January 15) when the embattled Chicago rapper was jailed for probation violation. It was video evidence that sealed Keef's fate, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

Last January, Keef (real name: Keith Cozart), was convicted of unlawful use of a weapon for an incident in which he waved a gun at a Chicago police officers. He was then sentenced to 18 months of probation and ordered to stay away from guns.

But in June, as part of promotion for his music, he went to a gun range with music website Pitchfork. He was seen in the video firing a semiautomatic rifle at a paper target.

The video has since been taken down but it was the center piece of evidence against the rapper in Tuesday's hearing. more on this story
