One Direction Mashup For A Cause

. (Radio.com) This past weekend saw the release of the latest single from One Direction, and it's not just any single. The 1D mash-up of two old school New Wave favorites from 1978, Blondie's "One Way or Another" and The Undertones' "Teenage Kicks," is a charity release for UK's Red Nose Day.

Red Nose Day is a bi-annual fund raising event, coming up this year on March 15th, organized by Comic Reliefto help those throughout the UK and Africa facing injustice or living in poverty.

As part of their Red Nose Day effort, One Direction recently traveled to Ghana where the band were able to see first hand the dire conditions. "I'm a little bit nervous and scared of what I might see," Zayn Malik reveals in a video document of their journey, "but we've come here today to have a look at what our money can do to help." It's a heart-wrenching video with the boys showing a seldom seen serious side. Read more and check out video here.
