. The album proved a massive success for the band and would have been the best selling album of the year had it not been up against Michael Jackson's "Thriller." During the interview frontman Joe Elliott discussed with the show's host Redbeard the challenges the band faced recording the album. "About halfway through the Pyromania album I first noticed that it was getting difficult to create something that was as good as the top notch artists.
