Lady Gaga Injury Forces Tour Dates Postponements

. (popmusiclife) Lady Gaga has postponed four upcoming dates on her Born This Way Ball tour due to a case of synovitis, a severe inflammation of the joints.

Gaga is following her doctor's orders to get some rest before returning to the stage. Gaga's next scheduled performance takes place February 19th in Philadelphia.

The singer broke the news to fans via her social media outlets, writing, "There's an unfortunate announcement coming out right now, concerning myself and the Born This Ball. I'm so sorry. I barely know what to say."

"I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now,over the past month it has worsened," wrote Gaga. "I've been praying it would heal. I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last night's performance I could not walk and still can't." more on this story
