Kris Humphries Wants To Delay Kim Kardashian Divorce Trial
. Humphries' attorney Marshall Waller filed a motion with the court challenging Kardashian's request. Waller says in the filing, "What is really going on here is that an 'urgency' in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something the Respondent had nothing to do with, is perceived by Plaintiff as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial." Waller argues that the case can't be rushed to trial because he has not yet received discovery documents and hasn't been able to depose witnesses, according to Radar Online. The documents state: "Indeed, if as [Kardashian's attorney Laura Wasser] asserts there really is 'no evidentiary support' to support Humphries claims, why don't they just give us the access we want? What are they hiding? What is there in the raw footage of this televised courtship, 72 day marriage and resultant breakup that they are so afraid of us discovering?" One of the depositions is of Kardashian, which Waller wants to delay because of Humphries' NBA schedule. "Humphries is entitled to be present at Kardashian's deposition, and due to Humphries work schedule he is unavailable until mid-May or June," the docs state. E! has posted the court documents online, you can read them along with their report here.
