Jonny Lang Explains His Voice Change On New Album
. Fight For My Soul was launched in September and sees Lang delivering a vocal style very different from his early works. He tells ADN: "I don't know how to explain it. I didn't necessarily try to sound like that it's just what came out. I've learned how to sing better, or closer to what I would like to do in my mind." Lang says of his earlier performances: "Some of that rasp was just me destroying my voice. I used to lose my voice all the time. It's gotten more powerful but less distorted; I can still do that, but it comes with a cost." more on this story The Blues Magazine is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
