Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera Perform on The Voice Finale

(Radio.com) On Wednesday night (Dec. 17), Lady Gaga ditched R. Kelly for a much shorter, blonder duet partner in Christina Aguilera. Wearing matching lame outfits, the two women teamed up for a special performance of Gaga's ARTPOP track, "Do What U Want" on the finale of The Voice.

Mother Monster started the song on her own before Aguilera joined in at the 1:35 minute mark. The two then faced off in the middle of the stage before grabbing one another hands, taking a seat on the chaise lounge and sharing a bit of the bubbly.

Since 2010, when Aguilera took some jabs at Gaga in an interview with Out Magazine, saying she was "nice to look at," it's been rumored that the two were at odds. But from the looks of their handholding performance, things are copacetic between the two.

In an interview with E!, Gaga said she actually asked if she could perform with the pop diva. "I was really excited because The Voice called and wanted me to perform on the finale and I obviously can't refuse," Gaga explained. "It's such an amazing show and I said, 'I'll do it, but I want to know if Christina will do it with me.'"

Aguilera said she was flattered by Gaga's offer and was happy to finally meet her and work with her. "This is the first time we've ever met and I have to say, when I heard she wanted to collaborate I said, 'Of course! Lady Gaga!' I've been waiting to meet her," Aguilera said. "She's such an innovative artist and a risk taker and as a fellow female, I have so much respect for that."

The night also included performances from OneRepublic, Paramore, and not one, but two from Celine Dion, who sang her romantic ballad "Incredible" with Ne-Yo. Watch video here.
