It follows the launch of second album Periphery II in July, with the US outfit's third full-length disc, currently underway. "It's rare when you have a band where every member is capable of writing and producing music; Clear is an experiment to explore the different styles," Guitarist Jake Bowen says. "With each member controlling their own track the recording enabled us to go down any path we chose in terms of style and sound.

"Every track contains a melodic theme established on the intro, Overture, and the common thread links all the songs together, even though they sound wildly different."
