"Our story begins when KISS lands at Torslanda Airport just outside of Gothenburg around 4 PM on the 25th of May 1976," explains authors Johan Falk & Roney Lundell.

"They arrive by plane unmasked and a Swedish photographer takes a few shots as KISS are about to embark on their first tour in Sweden, a tour which has generated scandalous headlines in the media long before the plane even landed.

"KISS will come back to visit Sweden again in 1980, 1983, 1984, 1988, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2008, 2010 and 2013 and the band (or parts thereof) have made promotional visits here in 1982, 1985, 1987, 1992 and 1994.
