Chris Robinson 'Pleasantly Surprised' With No. 1 Blues Hit

(The Blues) 19-year-old guitarist Chris Robinson is reeling after the experience of his debut single reaching number one in the iTunes blues chart, which has led to one of his heroes checking out his work.

The self-penned instrumental track, Lipstick On Her Cigar, marks the launch of his career as a professional musician. Robinson tells Peterborough Today: "I was pleasantly surprised; I didn't expect it. I'm really proud to see that other people like it."

He's already been tipped for success after being named one of the best young guitarists in the world today by producer and photographer Robert Knight. more on this story
