Badfinger's Joey Molland Releases New Solo Album
. But Molland has gone in a different direction with his latest work, recorded at Royal Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. "The album is quite a departure for me," he says. "The sound is very different: the treatment of the songs, the song content and the production all make for a much simpler approach." Producer Carl 'Blue' Wise brought in a classic Memphis three-piece rhythm section and female backing vocalists.
