The Pixies Dismiss A Member

(Classic Rock) Bassist Kim Shattuck has been dismissed by the Pixies just four months after she was confirmed as replacement for founding member Kim Deal who left the group in June.

Muffs member Shattuck has admitted she's "super disappointed" at the move, which comes after the band completed a UK tour as part of a bigger world trek.

She says via Facebook: "Super disappointed to learn that my time with the Pixies ended today. Amazing experience. Looking forward to focusing my attention back on the Muffs and our upcoming new album. All the best to everyone." more on this story
