The guitarist is gearing up for touring duties with PJ as they launch their new album, Lightning Bolt. But he recently reactivated his first-ever band, Shadow, and that's got him thinking about the past.

McCready says: "We were very influenced by NWOBHM bands like Maiden. I was a big Paul Di'Anno fan � it was Killers and the Maiden Japan EP we all listened to in Seattle."
