Mario: "Was Brad by her side? I imagine you got to meet him. Was he cool?" Dr. Funk: "Incredibly coolThe coolest!"

Mario: "Do you feel more pressure when you're working on a big star like Angelina? Dr. Funk: "I delve into a slightly more creative mode than maybe I've ever gone into in my life, knowing that it would be publically scrutinizedI developed some really new and beautiful changes to both the preparation for surgery, and the actual operation."

Mario: "What does every woman who has the brca1 gene need to know about the double mastectomy?" Dr. Funk: "The mastectomy is not necessary even if you have the BRCA gene and you have breast cancer."

Mario: "So what are some other options?" Dr. Funk: High risk surveillance. MRI's, mammograms, ultra soundsCombine it throughout the year so that at any given month or two, something is happening to look at your breasts." more on this story
