Katy Perry Closes Out MTV VMAs With A Roar

(popmusiclife) Katy Perry closed out the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night with a performance of her new single, "Roar" and you can watch the footage online.

The four-time VMA winner delivered the live performance debut of the tune in a boxing ring under the Brooklyn Bridge. Perry recently released "Roar" two days ahead of schedule due to an online leak of the song.

Due October 22, Perry's fourth album, "Prism", is the follow-up to the 2010 smash, "Teenage Dream", which sold more than 5 million copies worldwide. Check out the VMA performance here.
