Lady Gaga Performs Applause at MTV VMAs

(popmusiclife) Lady Gaga opened the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards in New York on Sunday night with a performance of her new single, "Applause" and video of the performance has gone online.

The live debut of the lead track from "ARTPOP" featured a variety of dancers and a number of costume changes within the four-and-a-half minute song.

Gaga recently released the video for "Applause" � directed by Inez & Vindooh � ahead of its scheduled date due to a number of online leaks. The singer's third album, "ARTPOP", will be released on November 11. Check out the VMA video here.
