Fans Photos Weren't Originally Meant For Kelly Clarkson's New Video

(Radio.com) Summer is wedding season and Kelly Clarkson is taking advantage of it in her new video, "Tie It Up." It's one of the more country-tinged songs we've heard from the American Idol winner in awhile, and since the song's subject matter deals directly with the matter of "setting the date," she takes the opportunity to put a lot of big white dresses and celebratory moments into the video.

Clarkson dons the knee-length sparkly white dress she wore in the single art for the song, while she performs at a barn dance with bare feet. The rest of the video is made up of fan submitted photos from real weddings and clips of every aspect of the wedding experience, from pictures to all-night reception party.

The photos were originally intended to be part of Clarkson's lyric video for the song, but she said in a Tweet that she loved some of them so much that they had to be part of her actual music video.

The clip also features a fair number of diamond rings, including Clarkson's own which she flashes at the camera while singing, "From a Miss to a Mrs." The theme of this song and video are traveling the same path as Clarkson, who is currently engaged and planning her wedding for after her current tour ends.
