Fans of OutKast may have to wait a little bit longer for that album they've been hoping for, since 2006′s Idlewild to be exact. But, there is some good news. There will be a solo Andre 3000 album on the way, in addition to his leading role in the Jimi Hendrix biopic.

While a rep for Andre's label told Billboard there is no official word on the release, Stephen Hill, president of BET music programming, had the news dropped into his lap by the man himself.

After running into Andre 3000 backstage at a concert, Hill tweeted their conversation: "Me: hey what's up? You got the movie coming,right? Andre 3000: yeah�and I got a solo album coming top of the year. Me:*droptofloor*"
