. (Extra) Justin Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette joined "Extra's" Mario Lopez to talk about her new book, "Nowhere but Up Teen Edition." Pattie also opening up about the recent headlines about her son, from speeding to spitting and the latest this weekend in the Hamptons where his entourage is accused of starting a bloody brawl.

Pattie saying, "If it affects the world the way it does, imagine how it affects me as a mom seeing these headlines," she explained, adding, "We talk about what he is going through, the pressures he is under, what people are saying."

When Mario asked if Pattie likes his current set of friends, she took a long pause, "I�.. well�.. I don't know how to answer that." Lopez then quipped, "You just did." more on this story
