The band recruited Disturbed and Device frontman David Draiman to produce the album. Draiman had this to say, "'Vengeance Falls' is a masterpiece of metal. It is their finest work to date, and a record so strong that it will blow the doors open to a world they deserve to dominate."

Trivium's Matt Heafy offered these comments, "'Vengeance Falls' is the culmination of everything we've gone through; the representation of struggle endured from within and experienced from the world. With a new album, comes a new tour and Trivium will be launching a North American co-headlining tour with DevilDriver on September 12th in Boise, Idaho.
