Beyonce's Little Sister Solange Impresses With Brooklyn Concert
. The neo-soul indie diva headlined the second night of the Crossing Brooklyn Ferry Festival at BAM, curated by Aaron and Bryce Dessner from the National, and let everyone know they were not excused from dancing. And we're not just talking about swaying from side to side. No, Solange wanted to turn the concert hall into a junior high school dance. Solange even called out a guy in the front row, shouting, "This fella in the white shirt, you are not exempt from grinding, baby!" While Beyonc� won't let professional photographers into her show for fears of an unflattering photo being taken, Solange wasn't afraid to show a little sweat. Before the encore, Solange ran off stage and when she returned she let the crowd know that she wasn't looking for a big applause or anything to bring her back out, she just needed a little breather.
