. Jay-Z, an executive producer on the film and the man behind the soundtrack, wrote the song "100$ Bill" specifically for the film. Rapping about 9/11, prohibition, Einstein and Taylor Swift, he even intertwines F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel into the track. A heavy beat that showcases Jay-Z's power, it's just a hint at what's to come from the film's soundtrack. will.i.am and the xx also specifically penned new music for the summer blockbuster, while contributions from Beyonce, Fergie, Florence + the Machine, Lana Del Rey, Emeli Sande, Gotye and Jack White also made the soundtrack. A snippet of Jay-Z and Kanye West's "No Church in the Wild" could be heard in the film's first trailer, but the song does not appear on the soundtrack. Listen to the Jay-Z track here.
