While his new single "Fine China" recalls Michael Jackson, Brown has always openly acknowledges MJ's proverbial presence in his life.

"Michael is one of my greatest influences," he said. "The way I look at everything I approach is� I wouldn't say a Michael Jackson standpoint, but I would say, 'Would he like it? Would he approve of it?' I looked up to him as a kid for every dance, for everything."

Besides MJ, Brown explained that his musical tastes run the gamut. He's open to experimenting with a number of different musical styles, including ones Team Breezy may not expect.
