Eric Church Explains Inspiration For Live Album
. "I'm a fan of old rock and roll, and there used to be a lot of live albums out there," he tells KMLE. "We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for our live show. There's been many times where it's carried us. Our live show we could always count on. So we thought it was the right moment to capture that, before we got too far away from it." And, he says, "we went back to a small place to record this," at the Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga, Tenn." It wasn't an arena show" but "a 1000 seat theater." What about the energy? "It was just rabid," Eric says. The crowd was "wild, and I like that rowdy feeling." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
