(Radio.com) Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard and electronic musician Jimmy Tamborello, collectively known as the Postal Service, convened in Reno, Nevada Tuesday night (April 9) for the band's first live show since an appearance at the Sasquatch music festival in 2004.

Joined onstage by former Rilo Kiley singer Jenny Lewis and Laura Burhenn of the Mynabirds, the Postal Service treated the crowd to a taut, 16-song set that covered most of the duo's revered and only full-length album, Give Up, which recently received the 10-year anniversary treatment with a deluxe double-CD reissue.

For the encore, the pair pulled out the 2001 song "(This is) The Dream of Evan and Chan," originally credited to Tamborello's musical collective Dntel and featuring Gibbard on vocals. The song is credited as the catalyst that inspired the artists to further collaborate, resulting in the Postal Service.
