Russell Brand Explains Divorce From Katy Perry

(CBS Local) Russell Brand married Katy Perry in 2010 after dating for a year, only to end their whirlwind romance fourteen months later. Now Brand is finally speaking out about why he called it quits.

In a recent interview with 60 Minutes in Australia , the comedian explained that he and the young pop star didn't really have that much in common.

"Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it don't," he explained. "But if you sort of sense there's an incompatibility, then in any relationship regardless of the status of the individual, it kind of is best to go separate ways." more on this story
