NME reports the footage was shot during a gig in Penzance, Cornwall in September 1977 - the month before "Holidays In The Sun" was released as the fourth single from the band's debut album "Never Mind The Bollocks." "The performance was shot using one camera and shows the extraordinary captivating quality of the band at the time," said director Julian Temple, explaining the origins of the video. "There was shock in the room, it was hypnotizing, contagious, and unfolded right in front of you. It was filmed in Penzance in September 1977, the Pistols arrived unannounced and the audience couldn't believe what they were getting."
