3 Doors Down Announce The Better Life Foundation Concert
. The charity concert is set to take place on November 17 at the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, Mississippi. 3 Doors Down singer Brad Arnold had this to say about the event, "It's a blessing and a honor to be able to give back to communities in need through The Better Life Foundation. A big thank you to all the fans and sponsors who continue to support the foundation and the amazing work it does!" According to the announcement, The long-term mission of the foundation is to make a positive change in the lives of children in need of food, shelter, and medical assistance, and to enhance the lives of children and young adults with special needs. Funds raised are distributed to organizations and hospitals that fulfill the band's mission to enable children to develop their potential, achieve their goals, and become caring and responsible adults. In addition to the live concert, the event will also feature a silent auction that will include signed guitars from 3 Doors Down, Los Lonely Boys, Korn, Bush, Theory of A Deadman, Godsmack, Staind and Chevelle, alongside drumheads from Nickelback and Josh Groban. Sports stars have also stepped up with auction items that will include jerseys signed by Dallas Cowboy Miles Austin and Miami Dolphin Anthony Fasono, footballs from the Carolina Panthers and N.Y. Jets, a signed helmet from future Hall of Famer Brett Favre and a football signed by legend Chris Carter.
