Blake Shelton Explains Duet With His Mother
. Dorothy duets with her son on the song "Time For Me To Come Home," which they actually wrote together. And luckily, Blake told CBS Local in a recent interview, he didn't have to twist her arm too hard to sing on the album with him. "She was really excited that we were writing a song together," Blake explains, "because she's always coming up with song ideas." Blake says the song is more or less "about the relationship between a kid and his mom." And once it was written, he says, "I told her, 'Mom, it'd be really cool if you sang on it with me.'"
