Kid Rock Premieres His Detroit, Michigan Song
. Rock premiered the track 'Detroit, Michigan,' on the Pure Michigan website and as the title suggests it pays tribute to the city that is close to his heart. According to the site Kid Rock's last studio album, "Born Free," featured Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore on Lake Superior, as well as Ortonville, Mich. in the music video for the title track off the album. In August, Kid Rock served as Grand Marshal of the Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Read more and listen to the song here.
