Khloe Kardashian Surprised She Landed X Factor Hosting Job

. (Celebuzz) When FOX's The X Factor goes live Wednesday, co-hosts Khloe Kardashian Odom and Mario Lopez will take the stage for the first time.

And while many fans were surprised by the choice of Odom and Lopez as hosts for the singing competition, no one was more surprised that Odom herself that she got the job. "It was a surprise for me that I was even up for this job but I think I got the job because I am who I am," the reality star told Celebuzz in an exclusive interview. "I don't make excuses for it."

"I think Simon [Cowell], from what he said to me is, he liked that I'm not some trained host and that's why Mario's here to kind of stir the ship if I get lost," she continued. Lopez also told us he is excited about his new gig. more on this story
