The Flaming Lips Eye World Record

The official Guinness Book world record, currently held by Jay-Z, stands at seven. Jay-Z accomplished the feat by jetting around the country, but frontman Wayne Coyne says the Flaming Lips will break the record by traveling by bus through the Mississippi Delta. "Like when the Sex Pistols did their one and only American tour, the weird mid-south � has something very absurd about it when contrasted with radical visionary musicians," Coyne said, in a prepared statement. "I've accepted the job of, not DRIVING, but commandeering the Magical Mystery Merry Prankster bus."
