(Sub) Katy Perry recently sat down with Yahoo! Screen's Michael Yo for his online web series, The Yo Show, for an exclusive video interview about her new 3D Concert documentary "Part of Me," premiering July 4th weekend in theaters everywhere.

In the exclusive interview, Katy talks about her earlier roots and what drove her to become the artist she is today. Check out the video to find out all the scoop from her parents reluctance to watch her on MTV, her Christian music roots, and her sassy grandma who makes a special cameo in the film.
