Dew-Scented Announce Special Guests On New Album
. Rob Urbinati (Sacrifice) says: "Sacrifice have been honored by Dew-scented in the past with a cover song ("Apocaplyse Inside" on 1999's "Ill-Natured"); now I am honored to be included on the track 'Gleaming Like Silver.'" Dew-scented vocalist Leif Jensen claims that Sacrifice "are one of the best and most underrated thrash metal bands ever" and admits that Sacrifice have had a big influence on his vocals. No stranger to the band, Dennis Schneider (Retaliation/ Final Breath) is slated to appear on both tracks "The Fall of Man" and "Perpetuated." The band came up with the idea to have him be a part of "Icarus" from jamming with him during rehearsals. Schneider had the following to say: "I've been hooked on Dew-scented ever since the release of 'Impact' back in 2003. When they asked me to do a few guest leads on the new album, I didn't hesitate one second. I'm really happy with the way it turned out 'Icarus' will rip your head off!" Longtime friend and inspiration for Dew-scented, Dan Swan (Edge of Sanity/Bloodbath), lends his deep grunts to the track "Reawakening." Swan first met Leif on the debut Edge of Sanity tour in 1993 and again in 1996 when Dew-scented toured with Edge of Sanity. Swan went on to help Dew-scented by mixing the 1998 release "Innoscent". Swan stated: "After touring with them and mixing with them, it was about goddamned time that I also sang a nice tune with them. The interplay between my and Leif's vocals worked out perfectly -- like a duet between Satan and the Devil!"
