(Gibson) Sales of Bee Gees albums have soared 339 percent in the wake of Robin Gibb's death on May 20.

As reported by Billboard.com, the pop trio's best-seller for the week ending May 27 was the greatest hits set, The Ultimate Bee Gees, which re-entered the Billboard 200 chart at #29. The group's landmark Saturday Night Fever soundtrack album jumped to #168.

In related news, Reuters has reported that Gibb will be given a private funeral in Britain next week, with a public memorial service planned for later in the year. The funeral will be restricted to close friends and family. The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to children's charities, Rebecca House and Wish Upon a Dream, both of which are based on the Isle of Man, where Gibb and his brothers were born. more on this story
