Whitney Houston Music Sales Skyrocket Following Her Death

. (popmusiclife) Whitney Houston's untimely death this past weekend has led to a huge increase in sales of her music.

Billboard reports "Whitney: The Greatest Hits" album could re-enter the Billboard 200 chart's top 10 this week, based on early sales projections.

Industry sources suggest that the album could sell over 50,000 copies in the day-and-a-half after her passing on Saturday; that sum would enable the hits collection to re-enter the top 20 of the chart easily - if not the top 10. more on this story
